Well a member of the Aviation Appreciation Society(Worldwide) hit the 'High'way this week.........with Bas Man flying to Greece yesterday with his family.......Well LA TI DA.......here the lovely trail he blazed on that 737-8K2............Have a wonderful time Bas..........and family......here's a screen shot of the line they drew......
..A friend of mine........who's father in law past away day before yesterday....so I went to visit her today.......to give comfort.....and to catch up.....its times like this when a death has to remind us of the most wonderful gift........ever given ...........'LIFE'..here are a couple words I shared with GG....today as I thought about 'Life'..and why in the hell its only valuable when the gift no longer belongs to someone who has died........someone we cared for............
" Life is to be lived .. But few do really .. The day to day grind sees to it .. Maybe that is 'living' .... and what we think we're missing out on...is always gonna be there .. Because if we get what it is we think we don't have .. We'll just want something else !!!??.
I want to live in the moment......and not take things for granted.......crazy that a death in the family .....or a rebirth so to speak........my brother finding me after looking for 25 years......when I met him .......the first hug....well it was as if the 63 years he has lived and the 56 yrs for me........never existed....that there was really no separation.....
Spending the day with Steph today.......after loosing her father in law.....funny...his great granddaughter.....told her Mother on Friday (the day he died) after she got home from school..........that she knew her Great Grandfather had died, that he came to her in spirit....told her she was going to be OK>....(her exact words) she said it was her new Great Grandfather, becuase she said he was young.....(I think according to the Catholic religon when you go to Heaven you go as a child or young...don't quote me on that)......anyway thats very wild........because she didn't even know.......he was in hospital.....I choose to believe the mystery and the magic of that.........not to just brush it off as coincidence....
Its been a long day.......and I spent the whole day there with her family....
..'Life'.....Its worth living and loving..........!!!!!!!!!.
I've fallen behind on so many things........why is it when good things happen....it can send you into a tailspin.......I'm fighting shutting my self off to the world.......just like today....was such a good day.......and I can dish out the advice............but taking it........getting my ass in gear is taking a bit of work....its almost 6 am.....I'll close out.....get a couple hours sleep......
I have so many vids from when I flew to Canada.......I promise to post.......I know and I can hear GG.....YADA YADA .....LOL.......
We did get one f*cking fabulous video of the Fed Ex........plane at the spot in Ottawa...for now..........here the video of my landing in Chicago......its long but damn its worth it.....we banked.........what seemed like 2 circles on approach into ORD..........
