Its Sunday.....sitting....at my table listening to live ATC (NY JFK Tower)....hadn't done that in a while, probably since before my trip...I've had a couple of weeks to reflect on my trip to Ottawa...seeing GG and her family was so Wonderful.....her beautiful children..........I LOVE those 'Badeggs'.....I feel so privileged to be a part of their lives......!!
Meeting a brother and his family... I never knew I had.......is quite the 'Life event'...
It goes without saying that Ottawa Canada......where my family and friends live......is a place I can call home....especially in the heart........Lucky me...!!

before take off from MSY .....the beautiful wing on the 737-800 with the "Split Scimitar Winglets".....the picture does no justice.....that thing was huge.......!!!

See I told ya............HUGE.........!!!

What wasn't huge was the 'Claustrophobic' feeling I got when I sat in my seat...OMG they have taken all "THAT"  room and put it where those who want to pay an extra $30.00 .....!!!!!!

Below the approach into O'Hare.......its a bit long......getting in line and waiting your turn to land at that crazy busy airport takes plenty of time............love the turns especially ....I know I posted this video already......but it deserves a rerun.....for Nutcase Aviation Geeks.......♥

After landing at O'Hare...........

as we were taxing......it was so Amazing seeing all the International Tail "Eye Candy".......first time I had seen many of these Intr'l carriers for real.......I was so damn EXCITED...!!!YEA.........I DON'T GET OUT MUCH......:/

O'Hare is Huge.......good thing I left myself over an hour to connect.....I was sprinting to my gate 2 concourses  down......but in between I took this pretty picture....♥

It was at O'Hare that I was close enough to see from the gate windows..  those huge 747's take off and land......OMG.....not one person out of the thousands .........could have cared less .........I was at the window.......in the hot sun...watching.......trying not to look obvious .......That was a VERY BIG DEAL TO ME........!!!!!I didn't record............instead just enjoyed the moments ......watching.....


 

boarded ......from my seat on the ERJ 170.....cute little wing.....I had SO MUCH more room in this plane than the 737.....'leg room' or lack of........is Big Business to Airlines these days......for sure for sure.......I was so excited I was just an hour or two from my family in Ottawa....now...time for a glass of wine and count my blessings......♥

hope not boring...............below my landing into YOW......as the sun was setting..........So Beautiful.....I was so DAMN NERVOUS....!!!!

Pulling up to the gate at YOW...........the sunset so Beautiful.........signals a new beginning for our family..........now lets get through 'Customs'...........ok jeezus whats my name..............YIKES.........

Before I got up from my seat............A lovely sign of things to come................I thought...!!!

After 'Customs' and getting luggage.......I walked out.........GG.....wasn't there.....instead meeting me at the hotel........little later.......me and my brother(Jim)........25 years looking.....and the his hug........was so fabulous.......OMG..........FAMILY...........!!!

later at the hotel........GG......took this of me and brother Jim and Violeta.........Jim's brother's daughter..........she was so Lovely......!!!

 

 

A 'Toast' from my HQ4EVER..........later after Jim went home........GG and I in the hotel room.......we pulled the couch up to the window............just like years before, just like 10 months ago when Bas Man was here.....we listened to live YOW ATC.......watched the planes come and go.......as the almost blue moon rose....We toasted .....to life, love, the sky..........and to family........♥

I'll reluctantly stop here.......will continue the story.......with mini posts in between........this week............thank you.........if you are here at the end..........I really appreciate it........My ♥ to all of you.....I'm very tired right now.........I always said, "I'll sleep when I'm dead".........think I'll take a nap right now..........C Ya Soon.....Peeps...!!
