Getjets,

I mentioned I used to enjoy looking at planes from the roof of Toronto's old Terminal One. I did some digging on Airliners.net this evening and found some interesting shots you may want a peek at. I didn't take these pictures, but they give a good idea of what you would see in a typical day. Hope you don't mind me posting them here.

I don't know how to hyperlink in a comment, so sorry, you'll have to copy and paste the URLs.

HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER. Favorite of mine also. Like the way the characters speak only Russian, then gradually [over a minute] switch to English. This helps the English speaker viewer feel like a member of the crew.

P.S.

Always enjoy your FROM THE FLIGHT DECK posts. You've got a free, uninhibited writing style.

Daniel, Thank you so much for saying such nice things....!!!!!!!!!!!

after I read your comment on Captain Doug's blog last night....I started to feel bad....so I put my "disclaimer" comment post....on his site....figuring my excess 'roasting" of the birthday boy....be frowned on...and I need all the friends I can get....lol...

r u feeling guilty...KIDDING...:))))))))

I can go off the deep end with my comments......and it has gotten me in hot and 'lukewarm' water...

didn't I mention once...that I love your straight lines.....they're...........so damn straight....LOL

what is it about compliments....first thing you want to say is..."no..I'm not that"...."no I'm not this".....instead of just saying Thank you and getting on with your life....

so I say again...Thanks so much...but artistic(me) NAAAAAAAAAAAAA..ya see.....ha ha
I do NOT have one single "right brain" artistic brain cell....but I have a full set of teeth....

YES...YES....I LOVE THE 'HUNT FOR RED OCTOBER...!!!!!
Wasn't the first English word "ARMAGEDDON"...??????

now how do you know thats English....I know it is English....(the word armegeddon)

"ONE PING VASILI....ONE PING ONLY...."

"MOTHER OF GOD...."

"YOU ARRAGANT ASS. YOU KILLED US..."

guess what...my style has gotten me in trouble couple of times....

I hope you will come back and visit....it was such a lovely surprise....

did I mention I love those ___________________________
