went to the "Farnborough International Airshow" yesterday.......!!!
'Farnborough' is famous as the home of the biennial Farnborough International Airshow.
The historic site – very close to where Samuel Franklin Cody made the first sustained UK flight in 1908 -
has been home to this renowned event, the world’s largest temporary exhibition for over 60 years. The site was developed by operators Farnborough International Ltd in 2007 to accommodate other events outside of airshow time. The permanent venue, FIVE opened in January 2008..!

I must say it was a cold and wet day at times but we all suffer for our passions!

Sorry you couldn't be there too, seeing a lightly loaded 380 lift off and then practically wing over, amazing - you won't see that at LHR!
