Last April, 2011........a Tornado tore through STL..........Lambert Field Airport...........These 2 videos are Very Dramatic.......of the Tornado hit from inside of the airport........!!!!!!!!!Thank God, no one lost their lives.......!!!!

Whow! Julie I never knew it was that bad to be honest! Pure devistation, in the second video I was like 'what could possibly happen' lol... waiting...waiting... no sound at all, everyone's relaxing and suddenly all hell breaks loose.
By the looks of it, really a miracle no one lost their live there and the damage was only material.
Thanks for sharing, by the way, that runway looks a bit like our Polderbaan which requires 15 minutes of Taxiing lol!

So right......no one had their head taken off...literally!!!
Lambert has really come back...with repairs and upgrades....in the past year.....and while she no longer is the 'darling'airport of the midwest....airline's are slowly coming back....to her main terminal......
now Southwest Air.....has it's own terminal.....and has very large presence there!!!
Polderbaan.....long way to taxi...isn't it still in use.....??
Easter bunny was good to me.....

Wow, never seen the actual footage from the tornado! I just did a turn through STL yesterday and everything seems normal! Though it does look like a ghost town :(
