BECAUSE I REALLY MISS TWA AIRLINES!!!

God only knows where my comments are going, not very computer savy...but make up for it with my wit!!!!!I started this blog, (Thinking it still exists, somewhere in the country of Turkey), anyway, I started this "getjets" blog because of Mr. Captain Vector in LA!! And nice enough to answer my earlier comment.  So I am good....BUT  ready for the A-380 Flight to resume from Sydney!!!!!! I believe its flight #11. I love tracking that flight, and been lucky enough to catch  several glimpses of that monster after landing with the runway cams.  Not a live stream, but refreshes every 8 seconds,   now that I've trained my eyes to blink every 8 seconds, looks like a live stream to me...get it,ha ha!!!  OOOOOOK.....I split my ATC live (i think) listening between LAX and JFK.  Those controllers at JFK, can get a little rough with some of them pilots. you know who, those who know just enough English to answer the controllers(some of them)! I am not making this up,saw it on 20/20 yrs ago!!!! I tell ya, its worth 5 hrs of clean, skilled takeoffs and landings just to hear 5 seconds of "OFF THE RUNWAY...NOW"!!!! And there was not a thing wrong...under the circumstances, for the controller to have his son, give a couple of "your clear to lands"!!!! OK TIME TO GO GET A CHRISTMAS TREE!!!!

Captainvector, another fine post with great pics!!! I have only seen the switchoroni to east once, On the runway cams, "pacific view", and "cargo city", that the law firm, "Countryman & McDaniel" are kind enough to show!
so being a ATC mean you work no matter where the holidays fall?? Like it is in the oilfield, the offshore division mostly though?
surviving the BP oilspill, is ongoing....
i watched the live online stream of the the oil gushing 1 mile down from the
ROV's practically 24/7, no kidding, as painful as it was!!
you know, as far as the A-380 engines are concerned...i'll just bet you check any random jet airliner engines, and you will find some sort of oil leak or something along that line.
no shopping on black Friday for me...don't need to take advantage of 2 cents off of cow tongue, if you get there at 4:59 am and with a$20.00 purchase!!!!
lovely shots of sunrise and moonrise on your posts, Thank you and hope you have a great Thanksgiving..."rogerwillco".

"NO 380'S FOR YOU"

My first blog...
I absolutely love aviation!!!! watch the LAX runway cams, both cargo city, and pacific view, also" live myFOX LAX" live stream....though i could just smack(joke) the camera operator sometimes.Just leave the live shot on the runways, PLEASE!!!! But was kind enough to show the inbound Syney  flight landing that was grounded after the landing, I felt like i had a least got  5 of the 6 number right in the lottery, I was so happy to have caught that live!!!!!!
Also listen to live ATC of the LAX tower controllers!!!!  Use the "flightaware" website to see arrivals and departures.  I tell ya, its a full time job just monitoring, ha. I get to work and my A-380 alert thru e-mail, shows progress of A-380 flight from Sydney to LAX, oh, by the way I do get real work done....called "raw talent". ha Anyway,  my google alert about the engine failure with the A-380 showed an update "NO A-380's  FOR YOU",  so there I found Mr CaptainVector...your blog is just Awesome!!!!!! took a couple of days, to cover your history, rereading and such. Just want to Thank You for your creative and informative posts!!!!!!!!!!! Hell, I had to figure out this how to start this blog thing, to hopefully  let ya know, and i am assuming you will receive this...Thanking You again, your are the s$*#t!!!!! And make this Cajun woman very happy... thats all for now, so CaptainVector...get back to work, looking forward to all present and future post!!!!! Miss TWA
