Early on August 28, 2012, the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) on the Suomi-NPP satellite captured this nighttime view of Tropical Storm Isaac and the cities near the Gulf Coast of the United States. The image was acquired just after local midnight by the VIIRS “day-night band,” which detects light in a range of wavelengths from green to near-infrared and uses light intensification to enable the detection of dim signals. In this case, the clouds of Isaac were lit by moonlight.

Last night before the "Real"...bad "Isaac"... weather started.....sitting on the my "Jet spotting swing".....having a glass of "Winey Bitch".....before the weather got too bad......I took this short video.......Thinking.....and Thanking God for my "Blessings" and not wait till I've suffered loss of any kind.....that even if I lose everything.......I will still be "Blessed"............!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....
And tonite....There's a 7pm curfew in place............don't get caught on the road.....after 7.......You Will GO TO JAIL.........!!!.
looks like Houma will fare way better than the folks in "Lower Plaquemines Parish" here in Louisiana.................and the the Gulf Coast of Mississippi.........are in for a 'Very'....long and dreary "Clean up".......once' Issac' has moved away........My Heart goes out to them.......!!!!!!!!!!!!!...
And my 'Heartfelt' Thanks to all of you.....for all thoughts and prayers.......Really......!!!!
So now that the eye is west of Houma......we are about to get the brunt of the other side of "Isaac".......as the feeder bans continue to wrap around in counter clock wise manner............and using the warm water of the Gulf, to redevelop in intensity...!!
