Good morning, Jules!! Thank you so much for the birthday post! Yay! I got one too!
Those photos of my visit bring back some special memories, you know. You, Mr Duck, and friends and family welcomed me with such love. I left a part of my heart there with you, dear friend. I look forward to our next adventure!
The jet spotting lessons took a little practice, though. I could never find the planes with the binoculars! LOL
I am used to watching them by "the fence"...I can't miss them...
The swamp was nothing like I had imagined. It was beautiful, clean, and blanketed in yellow lilies. That Mr Duck, he's such a romantic, picking flowers for us.
And hidden away, a Christmas tree. I loved it...
Gawd it was freakin' hot! I melted away...how is it that I sweat buckets and got burnt and you walked away from the bayou, fresh with a little rosy colour? Ugh!
But you know what is the best gift ever? The gift of friendship that your little blog has given me. I am so grateful for the truly lovely airplane geeks and pilots--all of whom I consider dear friends.
<3 love you all...now hand me some of that cake, dammit! :)
