I usually have a rather elaborate 'Memorial day' post.....but this holiday weekend..........we got lucky.......and while..we continue.........to memorialize ....those.........men and women....who fought..and died.......those who continue to serve...........away from home....!!!!and while we are home..............we choose to celebrate our 'holiday' weekends......with family and friends.........bought and paid for by those we celebrate this weekend in particular.......we were able to create 'Memories' that we can only hope will be memorialized in the heart and memories of our granddaughters.......Kaitlin and Jasmine..................♥♥♥♥♥♥..........Below is a 'simple' picture........that I posted on my fb page..........yes....Memorial day if over......but the loss felt continues..........so please............lets again thank those who pay and continue to do so.........that we can make real memories.........every day of our lives .............!!!.

As this is a holiday weekend here in the States....Monday being "Memorial day"......we "Honor".. Those who have served their country......and it matters NOT....the country ... Men and woman who serve....we salute ALL...!!!! Especially those who have passed on... Her Grandfather passed away..but he still 'lives'.....and walks his beautiful Granddaughter down the isle .. On her Wedding day ...his "Gold Wings".....they are a symbol of his service.....symbol of love for "COUNTRY". But Today they shine the brightest as they light her way down the isle... His "Love"....shining throw his "Golden wings".....!!!! |
