Morning!
Yes, Bassie is a busy boy. Those are a few of the pics from our trip to Miller's Farm. We got there each autumn to pick up our pumpkins and mums, etc. It is a fun place and the kiddies love it. Bas had fun too. ;)
After Thanksgiving brunch, we drove up to Gatineau Park to see the fall colours. The trees are beautiful this time of year. Bas was impressed with the burst of autumn colours. I'll send you some more photos, Jules.
The pic of the car was from Bas. He was so impressed with seeing a Crown Victoria. Hahaha...He says that they are from old television shows. You see what impresses him? Ha ha ha...
He also was impressed with the (and I quote) "exotic cars" here...like Pontiac!!! LOLOLOLOLO!!!
Good laughs.
The kids can't wait for you to visit. Mike is kinda scared.
Ha ha ...
We can't wait. It will be short but VERY SWEET! I would rethink the no coat idea, girlie. You are definitely gonna "freeze your a$$ off".......
Love you lots.
I can't believe it's almost been a year since I have visited you. I miss seeing Dave, Lucy, and Duck. I love you guys.
I love my "aviation family"<==like that!
xoxoxo
Now I gotta check in on Bas. He has been in Toronto for two days and now he will be headed to Niagara Falls for the day.
Ah youth! <3
GG
Giulia & Family:)
You continue to be VERY good hosts
& ambassadors for Ottawa!
Bas:)
I can see from the pics that the
process is COMPLETE: You
ARE Canadian... :)
Aaaawh haha, and I didn't even see the pics myself! Nice haha...the excavator one yeaaaaahhh right.....!
Charming one with that pumpkin hahaha, a quick smile really...
Back from Toronto, I think my 'epic' wouldn't even suffice here. Breath-taking and beyond expectations. I even went to Niagara Falls via Burlington! Sent you some pics Julie!
Ended up with a room mate at the hostel who was into aviation, good times!
Thanksgiving was awesome, like with everything that's happening to me here.
It's very true Dan, very true... Better than I could ever wish for! Process complete, eh! Going to watch Serpico tonight :) :) I'll let you know!
Thrilled, still. Had such an amazing long weekend. It started raining just as I got on the train back to Ottawa. Just perfect, couldn't have been any better.
Ciao for now,
Bas
Nice pic of you & your phone, Julie!

Bas:)
I await your feedback, sir! One of my
favourite lines from the film:
"Tonight, Frankie my boy, we make
our first collar!"

Prayers for OTTAWA... :(((((((((
Watched it! :) I actually really enjoyed it. Didn't think I would when it started off with Serpico sitting in the back of the police car, covered in blood with the sirens on. Some old school acting there. Particulary like movies like that. New York back in the days, has a lot of that changed in New York or does it still look like the 70's in some places?
Good recommendation! A young Pacino as well haha.
Looks like we are off to Montreal this weekend! I am EXCITED!
Ciao for now!
Bas
Bas:))
Glad you liked it; you seem to have specific
ideas about acting - have you done any in
school?

Ask Giulia about NY. She could answer that
question. I, too, just watched a bit of
SERPICO - my ordered copy just arrived.
Funny how memory plays tricks - remember
the line "Tonight, Frankie my boy, we
make are 1st collar" ?
It was in the book, not the movie!
