It's New Years eve right now......the afternoon and I just got home from work.......I want to wish everyone of our Aviation family here.....and those who just pass through.....a Very Happy New Year.......and lets hope there are no more horrible and tragic stories.....like this year....with all the plane crashes and such.......it's been far too deadly a year.......!!.....I am going to post...some New Years Slides.....I hope you all enjoy.......and everyone Please stay safe this New Years weekend....!!!!!!!!!!

AirAsia flight 8501 has gone missing..............

OMG........HERE WE GO AGAIN...........BUT THIS IS DIFFERENT..........IN MANY WAYS........I THINK....First the area is much smaller that they will have to search...............There are reports this morning that an Indonesia Air Asia A320 has lost contact enroute from Surabaya to Singapore QZ 8501. Let's hope for the best for crew and passengers......The pilot asked for another route.....due to weather......then contact was lost.......

HOPE EVERYONE HAD A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS...........!!!!

A bit of the after Christmas 'blues'..........and what brings a HUGE smile to my face...........today......??!!
Look what the mailman brought me.......besides my Awesome card fron Dave and Lu Lu Bell.........was the card from Bas Man.........I was Sure lost forever............I stopped looking.......and it found me..............I"m still smiling.........what Bas wrote...was so lovely..........he quoted Dave...when Dave said 'Aviation' was invented for people to come together....and it sure is TRUE...!!! Our Aviation family.....is tight......and when I look back at my weekend in Ottawa.......it was nothing....but full of 'Love'.......for Aviation and for each other.....again I want to Thank GG..and her Awesome family......for taking such good care of us......I hope everyone had a great Christmas.......with a hope and promise for a good year...........hopefully........we will all catch up one way or the other...in 2015...we already are ...in 'Spirit'..........♥

Went to friends(Karen and Curt's) house at 10 pm......and stayed till after 2 am..so I'm running late.....here, but better late than never........I want to wish our Aviation family a very Merry Christmas.........and hoping each of your Christmas days, are Wonderful..........♥

As Christmas day is here, lets once again, become brave like children and dream the impossible.....because at one time wasn't everything 'Impossible'....♥

Check these 2 pics out........taken by GG at YOW...earlier today(12/22/14).......you all know she's YOW "Airport Security".........she has the badge......past the background check.....she has magical powers now..........;)....ok.....she was listening to Live ATC at YOW..........she's at the famous fence we all hang out ........there you can see my hotel......and behind....you can see that BEAUTIFUL A-330......which is also famous......for being the 'Fed ex' plane we lust after from my hotel room.........lol.....




so to continue.........she was listening to Live ATC..........and she heard the 'Fed-ex' pilot ask if he could 'Gun' his engines........the plane has been parked there the last 2 days.......and as you can see.......he did indeed ........That A-330 was 'Kicking it up'........God, I wish I could have been there.........along with Bas Man.......♥
